Beta Alpha Psi
Beta Alpha Psi was established in 1919 to encourage and recognize scholastic and professional excellence in the field of accounting.
As a premier honor and service organization, Beta Alpha Psi is nationally and internationally recognized and resonates with outstanding scholarship and professionalism.

The primary objective of the organization is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in business. This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance, information systems, and other financial related fields. Beta Alpha Psi also provides opportunities for self-development and association among members. This is achieved through the encouragement of ethical, social, and public responsibility.

Beta Alpha Psi continues to expand internationally, promoting all forms of business-related careers.

The Zeta Alpha Chapter
Our Zeta Alpha chapter appreciates academic and cultural diversity within our organization and is not limited to one particular profession.
Purdue University is celebrated as an institution that is home to distinguished students with diverse interests and endless opportunities. Our Beta Alpha Psi chapter aims to keep this diversity by expanding the Krannert School of Management's goal of "Launching Business Leaders".

The Zeta Alpha chapter suits a multitude of academic and career goals, with majors ranging from Accounting and Finance to Management Information Systems. Such a breadth of interests fosters an organization that invites a wide array of experiences and perspectives to complement its informative workshops, team-building experiences, community service, and professional networking events.

Purdue was the 140th university to receive a chapter of Beta Alpha Psi. Operations begun in 1981 and have continued ever since.
